Yellow Bud Ruffle Doily (1940s–50s): vintage crochet pattern

- With Green ch 8, join to form a ring, * ch 12, sc in ring, repeat from * 6 times, ch 6, dtr (yo 3 times) in ring (this brings thread in position for next round), cut Green.
- Rnd 2: Join Yellow in any loop, * ch 5, 2 tr in 1st st of ch, repeat from * once, sl st in same space with 1st 2 tr to form petal, * work 2 more petals in same manner, sl st in 1st petal to form group of 3 petals, sc in same loop, ch 5, tr in 1st st of ch, sc in next loop, ch 5, 2 tr in 1st st of ch, sl st in center of 3rd petal, ch 5, 2 tr in 1st st of ch, sl st in base of petal, repeat from * all around ending to correspond and joining last petal to 1st petal, ch 5, tr in 1st st of ch, join, fasten off.
