This policy explains what personal information crochetpatterns.io collects, why, and how to ask for it to be deleted.

Information we collect

Your email address when you request a free PDF or buy a product; your mobile number only if you choose to receive text messages and tick the SMS consent box; a record of the consent you gave (the wording shown, date, time and IP address); order details processed by our payment provider; and aggregated analytics about page views. In the iOS and Android apps we do not ask for an account: purchases are identified by an anonymous ID created by RevenueCat, our in-app purchase provider, and Apple or Google process the payment.

How we use it

To deliver files you request and purchases you make. If you ticked the marketing email box, we email new patterns, tips and offers. If you ticked the SMS box, we send recurring automated marketing texts to the number you gave; message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of a purchase. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Text messages

Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also withdraw SMS or email consent at any time through the contact page. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Cookies

One functional cookie remembers whether you prefer US or UK crochet terms. Calculators that remember values, such as the row counter, store them only in your own browser.

Your choices

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, use the contact page. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.
