Pineapple Ruffle Doily (1940s–50s): vintage crochet pattern
A round pineapple-lace doily with a deep chain-loop ruffle. It measures about 15½ inches across without the ruffle in plain crochet cotton, or 17½ inches in the metallic version. Originally published as "The Pineapple Ruffle" in Ruffled Doilies (Star Doily Book No. 143) by American Thread Company, it is now in the public domain.
