Notes before you start

  • Work in a continuous spiral with a marker in the first stitch of each round.
  • The body is short on purpose — it squashes into a wide, round shape when stuffed.

Frequently asked questions

My frog is tall instead of round — what went wrong?

Too much stuffing or extra even rounds. Keep Rounds 7–10 to four rounds and press down gently while you stuff.

Can I use chenille yarn?

Yes, but chenille stitches are hard to see. Use a 5 mm hook, count carefully and expect a larger, softer frog.
