- Sc in the 4th ch from the hook, then (ch 1, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch) to the end.
- Ch 2 and turn.
- Sc in the first ch-sp, then (ch 1, sc in next ch-sp) across.
- Work the last sc into the turning chain space.
- Repeat the previous 3 steps until the piece reaches the desired length.
