• Tapestry needle, rustproof pins and starch for blocking
• Hook: Start with a 1.0 mm (US 12) steel hook — the printed size is #12 — and change size so the rings match the printed layout.

3. 2nd RING—Ch 40, insert ch through 1st ring, join being careful not to twist ch and complete ring same as 1st ring.
